let's talk vegas
June 2015 was my first visit to Las Vegas, Nevada. I went with one of my goddaughters to her brother's (ShowtimeShawn Porter) fight at the MGM on the strip. It was scorching hot. Didn't quite enjoy the whole 'What happens in Vegas Stays In Vegas' experience, but it inspired me to Blog about my mini visits and adventures that I have already and intend to continue to explore.
March 2017 second visit to Sin City was more of an first time experience than before. Even though the accomplishment of 'What Happens In Vegas Stays In Vegas' is yet not met, I was still able to enjoy activities surrounding my weekend stay. Revelation of my future encounter will most definitely be well planned with a full itinerary and wallet expensive to accommodate,
Traveling to vacation
There is
a difference between traveling and vacationing. Char has not been on a vacation..........so I have been preparing myself for my dream vacation by traveling. Even though I have visited many cities since my childhood, I realized that I have not been on an actual vacation. A quick breakdown while Char looks at traveling and vacationing as separate experiences and not as one in the same. When traveling I usually go from one state to another and it's typically places I like to frequent. I have also traveled to states for events and activities for business and/or entertainment pleasures. Now if Char is within 4 to 6 hours away from the destination, this girl is totally down for a road trip, but if its more than a 6 hour drive, Char's hopping on flight. Trains and bus rides are out the equation. Been there done that and this girl is not built for it. Now that I have a pretty good idea of what to do, how to do it, and when to do it, ready set go........destination Paris, France.
